Effective 14 October 2026
The short version: Forzac works entirely on your phone. It has no account, no ads, no analytics, and no permission to access the internet. We do not collect, receive or share any of your data.
1. Data stored on your device
- Books you add are copied into the app’s private storage on your phone.
- Reading data — your place in each book, bookmarks, highlights and reading settings — is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone.
- This data never leaves your device through Forzac. It may be included in your phone’s own system backup if you have enabled Android backup in your Google account settings; that backup is handled by Google under its own policy.
2. Network access
Forzac does not request the Android INTERNET permission, so it cannot send or receive anything over the network.
3. Files you open
When you add a book via “Add book”, “Share” or “Open with”, Android grants Forzac access to that single file only. Forzac does not scan your storage.
4. Sharing
When you share a highlight, Forzac passes the text to the app you choose via the standard Android share sheet. What happens next is governed by that app.
5. What we do not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No ads and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
6. Google Play
Google Play may collect information about your installation (for example crash and performance statistics, if you have allowed it in Android settings) under Google’s Privacy Policy. We can see these statistics only in aggregated form.
7. This website
This page uses no cookies, analytics or third-party resources. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver it.
8. Deleting your data
Delete a book from the library (long press on the cover) to remove its file, place, bookmarks and highlights. Uninstalling Forzac removes all of its data from your phone.
9. Children
Forzac is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
10. Changes to this policy
If Forzac ever starts to process any data — for example, optional paid features with sync — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the release notes.
